Canberra Social Competition - Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

Subject to clause 5 and 6, entry is open to all residents of ACT who have fulfilled the requirements set out below (‘Eligible Entrants’).
Employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter, Productions and associated agencies, contractors, sole traders and companies are not eligible to enter this competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or first cousin. The Promoter is Newtheatricals Pty Limited ABN 69 151 869 475 of PO Box Q1349 QVB, NSW, 1230 (‘Promoter’).
Entrants must be over the age of 18 at the time of entry and have a valid form of identification.

By following @GaslightPlayAU and liking and tagging during the “promotional period”, you give permission for the Promoter to share, re-post or use your Competition entry content for marketing purposes on their channels.

The competition commences at 1:00pm on Thursday 9 May 2024 and closes at 3:00pm on Sunday 12 May 2024 (‘Promotional Period’).
One winner will be randomly selected.
The winners will be notified by direct message on the platform on either Facebook or Instagram on Monday 13 May 2024. If the winners cannot be contacted or claim the prize within 24 hours of being determined we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner/s and pick replacement winner/s.

- 1 x double pass to the Official opening night of Gaslight in Canberra on Wednesday 15 May 2024.
- Total prize value: $150.
If the Promoter is unable to contact the winners to claim fulfilment of the promotional prizes, those winners will forfeit the prize and another winner will be drawn. The Promoter will not be liable for a winner who cannot be contacted and therefore forfeits their prize, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Redemption of the prize must be requested in writing by 14 May 2024. In the event the winner does not accept the prize within the agreed timeframe, then the entire prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters…
By accepting the complimentary tickets to the production, the recipients agree to receive email from the Promoters regarding Gaslight & future events – they may opt out at any time.

In accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition…
